Some of the Early Hymns of my Youth
As I remember it...
He's got the whole world in His handsHe's got the whole world in His hands
He's got -the -whole-world in His hands
He's got the whole world in His hands.
He's got the 'mommy and the daddy' in His hands
He's got the 'mommy and the daddy' in His hands
He's got the 'mommy and the daddy' in His hands
He's got the whole world in His hands
(each verse pairing up more members of the family until He's got the whole world in His hands)
Now that I have little ones of my own, I am very thankful for the colorful vibrance of my youth. It was filled with story-telling, skits and plays! Music, galore! Memories, fondest memories.
As I wake up every morning, and tend to my Hezekiah and my Danya Girl I can't help but feel a quickening in my delayed steps if ever I had awaken with any.... and the most beautiful part of being a mother is instilling to my children, what family means to me.
They may be young, and Hezekiah may not yet be enrolled in head start, but we've had some trying and fun times in learning and play times. I am their head start, and mid-solid-section and The best part of these is my youth comes and plays a very interesting role in my children's life. It is so vivid, how I instantaneously would just naturally bust out some song of my youth or a favorite bible story and abc. s, 123's. Now I cannot imagine a life without them- At all!!!
